Dr Shivan Jassim is an orthopaedic surgeon with a clinical interest in conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. He is based in Armidale and consults and operates at Armidale Private Hospital.
Dr Jassim completed his medical training in the United Kingdom and Australia. He holds Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Trauma and Orthopaedics (FRCS Tr&Orth). He also holds a Master of Science in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Cardiff Metropolitan University, and medical degrees from King’s College London.
